Greenhorn Mountain Veterans Association is now accepting Parade entries for the 2009 Rodeo Round-Up Parade on Sunday, June 14th beginning at 11 AM. Entries in all classes must be received by the GMVA Parade Coordinator by May 30, 2009. This year, the GMVA is honoring the Small Miracles Foundation.  This local non-profit foundation provides financial, physical and emotional support to Kern County families dealing with children with cancer. This foundation was created in the memory of Lauren Small who lost her battle to cancer in 2005.

Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the duration of the parade--no exceptions!

We welcome 4-H clubs, FFA groups, marching bands, classic cars, horse groups, floats, clowns, or any other family oriented entry.  Prizes for first place ($150) second place ($100) and third place ($50) will be awarded at the conclusion of the parade.
